It's been a few weeks since I've participated in Allie's Happy Monday. This week's theme is texture... I thought this photo was perfect...

I mean, who can resist baby toes, right? I love how the soft texture of the blanket meets the smoothness of those little wrinkly baby toes.

I figured my earlier Monday post was pretty depressing... all that paperwork stacked all over my desk... so little time, so much to do... you know, blah, blah, blah.

I saw that Allie's Happy Monday photo challenge this week was "children," and I'm always up for any good excuse to post a photo of my adorable twin nieces. So flippin' cute. I know.

This week's Happy Monday photo theme is jewelry... so I figured I would use one of the photos I took of my sister's engagement ring. I used my 60 mm Macro lens, which takes absolutely AMAZING detail shots. I love this lens.

My sister's wedding will be in Texas... so this little photo was beyond perfect. I posted a few of my other favorites, but I am submitting the Texas shot for Happy Monday.

I love the detail on this one.

This week's Happy Monday photo challenge over on Allie's blog is sunrises (or sunsets, for us not-so-early-risers)...

I love this photo. Lance and I spent the afternoon exploring our new surroundings in Louisville... enjoying the breeze off the Ohio River... and I just happened to capture this shot of Lance in front of the bridge. I love the soft glow of the sunset against his frame and the lines of the bridge. Definitely one of my favs...
