Dear sweet baby girl,
How is it possible to love someone so much, so fast? Ever since we received that phone call two weeks ago we simply can't stop thinking about you.
We talk about you all the time... wondering what you are like... what your favorite foods are... how big you are... what your hair is like... if you have a favorite caregiver... what your name will be... how long before you come home with us... and it goes on and on.
I pray for you every morning on my way to work. Your daddy has your picture saved as his wallpaper on his phone. Your Mimi couldn't contain herself and already mailed you a package full of adorable new clothes and your very first dolly. Friends and family have already started planning your arrival, as many of them have been praying for you long before they ever knew you. You are already so, so loved by so, so many... and that makes us so, so happy.
Hurry home sweet girl, hurry home.
Love,
your mama

This nearly made me cry. I'm so, so happy for you and Lance! :) You guys are going to make incredible parents, and I am thrilled with the amazing things God is doing in your life!
By the way, I've nominated you for the Super-Sweet Blogging Award--don't feel obligated to pass it on, I just wanted to let you know! :) http://jaimie-livinginthelight.blogspot.com/2013/06/paying-it-sweetly-forward.html
I am crying. I am so so so excited for you and your growing family! I am going shopping today and I will try to contain myself... ;)
Waiting...one of the hardest parts. But after the waiting, comes the pure joy of a miracle. Praying for your sweet baby girl!
I just got chills. I can't wait for baby girl to come home and to be surrounded by all the love that awaits her!
I love to hear you call yourself mama. You will be amazing and I can't wait to meet this sweet girl someday soon. She and Gus are close to the same age, so we can have such fun playdates when you're here!
Julia, this is such a precious time for all of you. Cherish every moment! I also encourage you to continue writing letters, perhaps handwritten ones in a journal, that you can show her when she is older.
We are so excited to have baby girl as our grand daughter. Thank you Julia for writing about her. We are praying for her too!
LOVE this. Annnnnnd, I'm crying....shocking. WE CANNOT WAIT TO MEET HER!!! The girls are already asking when they can babysit her :)))))
Ahhh!!! So excited for you both still, and so excited to keep up with the updates :)
I have been so happy for you ever saw I heard the news! I hope the rest of the adoption journey goes smoothly for you and that your sweet baby girl will be here soon.
