thankful thursday

This Thursday I am thankful for:

1) Global Gourmet. Every year the Kentucky Refugee Ministry hosts an amazing fundraiser to help the lives of refugees... hence the Global Gourmet. I have been asked to provide the photography for the evening, and couldn't be more honored. The event is tomorrow evening at Glassworks in downtown Louisville. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $60, or only $10 if it's after 9:00pm. So come on out and support if you're in the area... there will be live music, an auction, and obviously, a gourmet meal:)

2) Quiet reminders. Sometimes it's those quite gentle moments that cause us to pause and remeber to be thankful at all. This rainbow was spotted on our drive to Georgia last month. I was complaining about the long drive and so ready to get to our destination... then we spotted this beautiful full rainbow in the sky. It was the perfect quiet reminder.

3) Being home. It's nice to get back home to my hubby and Little Cat. I am so, so thankful that my company allows me to work from home, making only monthly visits to the office, but living out of a suitcase gets old pretty quick. So happy to be sleeping in my own bed tonight, and back to my 1 minute commute:)
