scarlet hope staff {louisville photographer}

Meet the beautiful ladies that make up Scarlet Hope.

I feel incredibly privileged that I was able to snap some staff photos for them this year.  Scarlet Hope is an organization that is very near and dear to my heart.  It is a ministry in Louisville, KY that is designed to share the love of Christ with women in the adult entertainment industry.  Every Thursday night Scarlet Hope sends out tons of women volunteers into the strip clubs of Louisville to bring food to the dancers, while taking time to listen and pray for them.  These volunteers go into these clubs with no judgement or harsh words, but rather just the opposite... they spend time with these girls... painting their nails... laughing... learning about their families... listening to their stories... praying for their future... simply loving them

Scarlet Hope was founded by Rachelle Starr, pictured here with her husband Josh.  Josh and Rachelle are some of our very dear friends, and we are so grateful to know them.  Several years ago Rachelle had a vision of how she could play a role in sharing the love of Christ with women in the adult entertainment industry.  It's been amazing to watch how God has blessed her vision and grown this ministry beyond what she could have ever imagined.

Just this past year, Scarlet Hope opened the doors to it's new residential Hope House.  This is where women that are leaving the entertainment industry can live under the care and guidance of Scarlet Hope as they transition into a new job... a new family... a new life.

Scarlet Hope is made up of hundreds of beautiful women... but here are the four women that really make this ministry tick... day in and day out...

Rachelle...

Emily...

Courtney...

Missy...

These women truly are amazing, and I feel incredibly privileged to play a small part in the very big change Scarlet Hope is bringing to Louisville.
